Myoora, one of Victoria's great heritage mansions. Constructed in 1886-1887, its current owner has a passion for motor cars. His decision to replicate the former stables to house his collection led to heritage specialist architect Darren Overend being engaged to complete the design for a new motorhouse.
One of the challenges of this project was to construct a clear span steel structure to allow space for internal car stackers while maintaining the external appearance of a lightweight timber framed building.
